Senior Software Engineer (Integrations, Laravel/PHP)
Details
I like work where something important is still unclear: a process wasting people’s time, a system nobody quite trusts, or an idea that still needs to become something real. I am most motivated when the result proves useful to the people who rely on it.
That might mean saving an end user time, removing friction for a colleague, or making a system easier to understand and trust. I stay with the problem until the result works in practice, not just on paper.
AI is a practical part of how I work. I use it to get into unfamiliar systems faster, prototype ideas, and test assumptions. I also use it to get routine work out of the way. Reusable skills, explicit rules, and structured reviews keep that speed from lowering the quality. I still make the calls and own the result.
I have been building software long enough to know that complexity needs to earn its keep. I ask awkward questions early, take ownership when work falls between roles, and try to leave software easier to use and easier to change.
The practical mix is stronger than the title makes it look.
